On the Ground at CANSEC 2025
IN THE NEWS
Ottawa, Canada | May 28–29, 2025
The CanHeat team was proud to attend CANSEC 2025, Canada’s leading defense and security showcase, held in Ottawa.
From operational readiness in extreme cold to rapid-response field setups, the event highlighted a growing demand for rugged, scalable solutions - precisely where CanHeat delivers. As part of this effort, CanHeat Founder, Sergey Reger, engaged with military leaders, innovators, and procurement specialists to evaluate how CanHeat’s field-deployable heating systems align with the operational needs of modern defense forces.
Following meaningful conversations with frontline experts and industry stakeholders, we walked away with three clear confirmations of our direction:
Sustainability is strategic – Defense procurement is shifting toward low-emission, fuel-efficient gear that supports long-term ESG commitments.
Deployment speed matters – Equipment must be self-contained, easy to deploy, and reliable in high-pressure scenarios.
Durability is non-negotiable – Solutions must perform without fail in extreme cold, rugged terrain, and unpredictable environments.
These insights reaffirmed our commitment to build systems that meet and exceed the expectations of modern field operations.
CANSEC 2025 underscored a broader shift across the defense sector toward sustainability, adaptability, and reliability principles that are embedded in every CanHeat system. We remain focused on delivering tactical heating solutions that are not only rugged and efficient, but also mission-aligned and future-ready.
